“Bolashaq” Presidential Programme Spokesman Appointed

The well-known journalist, TV presenter Zhiger Sarsen was appointed press secretary – head of the press service of Center for International Programmes – “Bolashaq”.

Zhiger Sarsen was born on December 16, 1984 in Oskemen, East Kazakhstan Region. Graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University majoring in journalism and T. Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University with a bachelor in state and local governance.
He began his career in 2004 as the editor of the program service of the “Khabar” TV channel, and was the presenter in the “Business Meken” program. In 2009–2014, he worked as a correspondent for the Directorate of Information and Analytical Programmes, was a journalist of the “Presidential Pool” covering the activities of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev.
From 2014 to 2016, he was an own correspondent in USA, Washington for the “Khabar 24” TV channel.
From 2017 to 2018, he headed the press service of the Governor of the Kostanai region.
Since September 2019, he is the author and presenter of the “Prime Time” program on the “Khabar” TV channel.

18th October, Moscow. Bolashaq students had the meeting with the representatives of the Embassy of Kazakhstan facilitated by Askhat Abdumurzayev, the official representative of the JSC Centre for International Programmes in Russian Federation.

On 11th October, 2019 Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United States  Erzhan Kazykhanov hosted Bolashaq students at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Washington DC.

Some of the most active Bolashak students including Zhainagul Tolemisova (MA in Media and Strategic Communication),  Zhanar Qudaibergenqyzy (MSc in Biological Sciences) and Zhanar Kubekbayeva (Master of Strategic Public Relations), all three studying at the George Washington University, received Ambassador's Letters of Encouragement.

Educational exhibition “Education USA 2019”

On October 20, 23 and 26 the annual educational exhibition “Education USA” will be held in Nur-Sultan, Atyrau and Almaty.

JSC Centre for International Programmes took part in the «Study UK 2019» education fair

JSC Centre for International Programmes took part today in Nur-Sultan in the «Study UK» education fair organised by the British Council. Representatives of the Centre for International Programmes made a presentation about the Bolashaq Presidential Scholarship along with the additional educational projects undertaken by the Centre.

Visitors of the Fair had the chance to receive first-hand information about the requirements and conditions for studying abroad.

King's College London announced application for The Alexandros Petersen Scholarship for 2020/2021 academic year.

The University is offering one-year tuition-free master's program in «Conflict, Security and Development» of the War Studies Department.
