International Cooperation: prospects for interaction with EPLO and the Embassy of Italy discussed

An official meeting was held at JSC “Center for International Programs” with the participation of representatives of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and representatives of the Embassy of Italy. During the meeting, the areas of cooperation with the European Public Law Organization were discussed, with particular attention paid to internship opportunities for the professorial and teaching staff, academic staff, as well as executives and specialists working in the fields of public administration, management, and law.

A welcoming address was delivered by Adil Kusmanov, Chairman of the Board of the Center. He elaborated in detail on the key programs – “Bolashak,” “Scientific Internships,” Study in Kazakhstan, as well as intergovernmental scholarships, emphasizing their strategic importance. The Chairman highlighted the special importance of Kazakhstan’s goal to become a regional academic hub: “Approximately 40 international universities operate in the country as strategic partners. Our programs contribute to the development of Kazakhstan’s human resource capacity within these universities. This is our concrete contribution to transforming Kazakhstan into a regional academic center,” Adil Kusmanov emphasized.

EPLO is an international non-governmental organization operating at the global level to strengthen the rule of law, democratic institutions, and public law.

The Director of EPLO, Professor of Public Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Spyridon Flogaitis, emphasized the organization’s particular interest in developing cooperation with Kazakhstan. According to him: “Kazakhstan is a country of strategic significance in the Eurasian space and a regional hub for us. We are confident that investments in the fields of law and public administration make a significant contribution to the country’s long-term development”.

In addition, Professor Flogaitis noted that EPLO, as an international university, offers a unique educational model that allows students to study in an international academic environment and obtain a degree recognized on par with the Italian higher education system.

Following the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness for active and constructive cooperation, emphasizing that the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and EPLO will continue through new projects and educational programs.
