On April 18, 2025, a meeting was held with representatives of Duke Kunshan University (Jiangsu Province, China) — Executive Vice Chancellor John A. Quelch and Consultant Nurtas Zhanibekov. The JSC "Center for International Programs" was represented by Chairman of the Board Adil Kusmanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board Abay Rakhmet, and Head of the International Cooperation Department Aidana Bakhmanova.
Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is an international university established in 2013 as part of a strategic partnership between Duke University (USA) and Wuhan University (China). DKU offers interdisciplinary academic programs in the humanities and natural sciences, as well as in management and engineering.
During the meeting, the parties discussed potential cooperation within the framework of the Bolashak program and scientific internships.
This meeting opens new opportunities for Kazakhstani students and researchers, strengthening prospects for international knowledge exchange and joint research on the global stage.
